Drupal Upgrade Problems

I tried to upgrade this site to Drupal 5 last week but kept having problems that continually got worse. Yesterday I was finally unable to login at all so I just reverted the site to my last backup.

I lost some posts, including a couple of pages of Drupal tutorials, but I'm going to extract them from the other database and post them again.

I think the problem was that this was never intended to be a serious Web site and I may have hacked some of the core in my original installation. I'm not sure where I put my notes so I'm not sure what I did to the backend of this site. Now I know better.

I guess I don't really need Drupal 5 for this blog.

Everything should be back to normal now...
