Is it just me, or does the new Google Groups design look like a generic parking page?

What is happening to the BBC? I previously wrote an article about the terrible "Web 2.0" redesign idea (which was recently cited on the CNN Money blog). Now it looks like BBC is going down a terrible path to make itself Microsoft-only.
I went to the mall today to find a sturdier laptop bag. I've had my current laptop bag for fewer than three months and it's already falling apart.
